Six months ahead of schedule. Four weeks of campaigning. Two weeks of Olympics. It all comes down to one day of voting. 3rd Degree sums up the WA election campaign, lays out the policies on offer and gets some expert opinion on what to expect when the polling booths close.

Western Australian voters go to the polls tomorrow to determine who will lead the state for the next four years.

Premier Alan Carpenter’s decision to call an election six months early (and within days of the Liberals appointing opposition leader Colin Barnett) was controversial, and opinion polls indicate there is now little separating the two parties. read article »
